Program Objective
To develop professional-grade skills in fashion design, garment construction, fashion illustration, and fashion business so that learners gain construction precision, design authorship, fit expertise, illustration fluency, and the capacity to build fashion as enterprise.

Stage 1: Foundation

- Machine operations through full machine understanding, troubleshooting, cleaning, and safe professional use

- Producing a professionally finished introductory garment such as a blouse, skirt, or children's wear piece
Stage 2: Formation
Objective Rudimentary Principles
- Accurate measurement systems, ease understanding, and translating measurements into garment decisions
- Pattern fundamentals through symbols, grainline, layout logic, markings, and work with commercial and independent patterns
Conceptual Knowledge
- Garment architecture through darts, seams, shaping, balance, and three-dimensional construction logic
- Design thinking through wearer, purpose, silhouette, comfort, and intentional design planning
- Multicultural fashion foundations through exposure to global style perspectives and respectful interpretation
Applied Theories
- Pattern translation through precise layout, cutting, marking, and assembly
- Completing a well-fitted women's or children's wear garment demonstrating strong foundational competency
Stage 3: Mastery
Objective Rudimentary Principles
- Intermediate construction through darts, facings, necklines, waistbands, and structured garment complexity
- Closure mastery through centred and invisible zippers, button stands, buttonholes, and snaps
Conceptual Knowledge
- Fit, proportion, and silhouette through body-to-garment relationships and visual effect
- Construction sequencing through logical assembly order, pressing discipline, and planned efficiency
Applied Theories
- Constructing a blouse or shirt with facings, closures, and quality finishing
- Producing a skirt or trouser with waistband, zipper, and hem to strong professional standard
Stage 4: Purpose & Application
Objective Rudimentary Principles
- Fit development through diagnosing issues, adjusting length and width, and improving garment balance
- Couture and bridal basics through careful handling of lace, silk, satin, beaded fabrics, and precision finishing
Conceptual Knowledge
- Fabric selection through informed choices about drape, texture, transparency, durability, and design fit
- Quality control through self-checking procedures, correction methods, and professional standards
Applied Theories
- Fit-and-refine exercises focused on correction and fitting expertise
- Textile embellishment through introductory beadwork, embroidery, and appliqué
- Business module foundations in fashion industry awareness, client care, branding, and customer service
- A collaborative capstone group project presented in a themed fashion showcase
