ADVANCED TRACK

Program Objective

To develop advanced technical proficiency, conceptual depth, and artistic voice in teenagers, preparing them for portfolio presentation, higher education in art, or professional creative practice, with the ability to independently conceive, develop, and execute sophisticated artworks with clear intention.

  • Advanced painting technique through colour temperature, harmony, layering, surface control, and broader material use

Conceptual Knowledge

  • Art historical context through major movements, visual problem-solving across periods, and historical dialogue
  • Advanced design principles through golden ratio, dynamic symmetry, visual hierarchy, and narrative flow
  • Concept development through research, symbolism, visual metaphor, and clear artistic intention

Applied Theories

  • Advanced drawing projects such as figure drawing, portrait work, complex still life, and architectural or spatial studies
  • Advanced painting projects including full-colour still life, landscape or cityscape, and experimental mixed-media studies
  • Research and analysis assignments through master-copy study, visual research, and written reflection on artistic influence

  • Critical observation and analysis for self, peer, and masterwork evaluation
